BRAND STRATEGY CONSULTING & POSITIONING

Clarity before visibility.

Brand strategy consulting for companies and experts who want to become clearer, not louder.

How to spot a missing brand strategy

The communication sounds interchangeable. Offers get compared on price rather than on value. Every channel tells a slightly different story, and new marketing activity starts before the last has had any effect. These are not creative problems – they are strategy problems.
Without a workable position, every campaign remains activity for its own sake.

Components of the brand strategy work

Brand audit & competitive analysis.

A structured review of brand presence, communication and competitive environment – including concrete recommendations.

Audience analysis & personas.

Who decides, what do they search for, what tips the balance? Detailed personas including channels, needs and decision processes.

Positioning & value proposition.

A clear promise, sharpened against the alternatives – the basis for every decision that follows.

Corporate identity & tone of voice.

Colours, language, imagery and brand feeling – developed or refined, documented as binding guidance.

Content strategy along funnel & channels.

A funnel-based content logic with topics, formats and channel fit that makes editorial work plannable.

A route with several stages

How your brand strategy takes shape

01 Analysis.
Market environment, competition and internal starting point are captured methodically – through workshops, questionnaires and external research.

02 Positioning.
A clear value proposition is derived and sharpened against the alternatives – until it holds.

03 Translation.
The strategy is turned into concrete guidance for language, imagery and channel – as a document your team and your service providers can work with.

What you get out of it

Not a slide deck for the drawer, but working documents: positioning paper, persona profiles, identity guide and content logic – compact, binding and written so that every later measure can be held against them. On request I then implement the strategy directly: in the website, search engine optimisation and campaigns.

What a good brand strategy changes day to day

A workable brand strategy reaches far beyond marketing. It makes decisions faster, because a clear yardstick exists: does an idea fit the position or not? It makes prices easier to hold, because clients see the value rather than only the price. And it attracts the right clients while filtering out unsuitable enquiries by itself. In short: brand strategy is not a cost item but a tool that takes friction out of the entire business.
For smaller companies and independent professionals in particular the leverage is large. Sharpen your position and you no longer compete with every rival on price; you get booked for what makes you distinctive. That clarity is the basis of every further investment – in a website, in search visibility or in campaigns.
A brand strategy is not a one-off project that ends in a drawer, but a living frame of reference. It becomes the yardstick whenever decisions come up: a new service, a website relaunch, a job advert, a campaign. That is precisely why I document it so that your team and your service providers can work with it on their own.

FAQ – Brand strategy

Brand positioning is the deliberate decision about what a company should stand for – and what it should not. It defines audience, value promise and distinction from competitors in a few binding sentences. Every further marketing decision – from the website to an advert – can be measured against it.

Depending on scope, between four and eight weeks. A compact brand audit is ready after one to two weeks; a full positioning with personas, identity guide and content strategy typically takes six to eight weeks – including workshops and review rounds.

The logo is a mark of recognition – the brand is the promise behind it. A brand covers positioning, values, tone, imagery and the experience at every touchpoint. A new logo without a settled position therefore changes little; a clear position even raises the value of an existing logo.

At the latest when communication feels interchangeable, price pressure grows or different channels send different messages. Typical triggers are founding, growth, succession, new competitors or a planned website relaunch – because a website without a position is only decoration.

Individual components start at €475 (content strategy) and €525 (audience analysis); a brand audit starts at €570, identity development at €850. Full strategy projects are quoted by scope and stated up front as a fixed offer – no open-ended hourly estimates.

Yes – especially there. The smaller the business, the stronger the effect of a clear position, because it focuses limited resources on one point. For experts, consultants and practices the personal brand is often the biggest lever: it decides whether you are recommended, found and correctly understood.
